Thinking a smaller town might be a more personal atmosphere, I took my Boston Terrier for his exam here. I really liked Dr. Truitt, so I took my other Boston in, But this time I got the older man vet. My dog has one black toenail that had been broken and grew back crooked. I asked if he could just trim that one nail since I was uncomfortable trimming a black one. I did not ask for a full trim, all feet! He did...just that one nail. When I later saw on the bill that I was charged for full nail trimming..all paws, I called and asked for a credit on my account for the $19 overcharge. The office manager was extremely unprofessional, rude, and argumentative. I explained I am happy to pay for what I ask for and what I get, but I did not ask for a full nail trim. She kept arguing, cutting me off, and even asked me who my last vet was and how much they charge. She said she'd call me back. Of course, she never did. What business owner would hire someone who would be so unprofessional? They lost the account of two dogs because they have a business manager who doesn't know how to deal with people. We have a new vet now and are very happy with the way we are treated. Ozark Vet Clinic needs to work on customer service.
Update: The clinic manager, Renee, posted a response saying... she doesn't know who I am or when I visited the clinic, and that I should call them. Okay, I called, and I recognized her voice and manner of speech as definitely the person I had talked to. She said she 'didn't know me', but she had my chart pulled up when I called. Her almost first comment was to again argue with me , saying, "I did wonder why you waited 4 months to post a review." I recognized her voice, but she denied it was her...unbelievable. She said again she'd call me back or email me. She has not. This is unbelievable shabby treatment of a good, now former, client of the clinic.
She admits in her response that I was overcharged but I still haven't gotten my refund ...from 4 months ago. It's not the money as much as how they treat a retired senior customer. My suggestion is go to a vet clinic that values you and treats you respectfully and honestly.
Update: Got a check in the mail. No apology, of course.
This place is truly amazing, the staff is totally professional and caring to mine and my pets needs. They were the only vet service within 50 miles that had the insulin that my dog desperately. Thanks again you are amazing.
DO NOT GO HERE unless you plan on only seeing doctor Lynn I have been trying to get ahold of one of the new veterinarian’s about some labs that were drawn over two weeks ago and every time I go to call to speak with her I can’t get ahold of her and get the run around from the office staff this is how they treat a customer that spent nearly $400.00 in there office again the only one worth speaking to is Doc Lynn.
